Target Audience Questionnaire

Whilst it is good to collect a general consensus of what an audience thinks of my music video, it is also important to focus on a particular section of the general public - my target audience. In my research and planning, I established that my target audience is most likely to be that of teenage girls. To reach this section of society, I constructed a questionnaire in which the girls were to watch the video and then answer the questions commenting upon it. I handed out these to different year groups at the high school I attended and I received a total of 20 filled in and given back.

I feel that I have included a good range of both open and closed questions that tackle all the important angles that need to be covered in media in general: audience, representation, genre and institution.
